The iconic Cheyenne Diner is closing on Sunday after a 68 year run. I used to work around the corner and ate lunch there quite often. It makes me sad that old time New York places like this are disappearing one by one.

maybe it’s salty of me, but isn’t that the same as it ever was? NY has been around a long time . . . but there isn’t much in the way of business that’s been around since the 19th century, is there?
Maybe that’d be an interesting project: Old Things In NY. What are they?
